What is the Saskatchewan Physiotherapy Association ?

The Saskatchewan Physiotherapy Association Inc. (SPA) is the provincial professional association representing over 380 member physical therapists in Saskatchewan and is one of 10 provincial branches and 2 territorial councils of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA).

The mandate of the Saskatchewan Physiotherapy Association Inc. is to advance the delivery of physiotherapy services by promoting excellence in education, research and clinical practice.

The SPA publishes a quarterly newsletter, “Physio . . . On the Move”, to keep members informed of happenings in the physiotherapy profession in Saskatchewan. The Association also responds to requests for information from members and non-members, participates in consultation and advocacy activities with government and other stakeholders on behalf of the profession, and promotes the physiotherapy profession in general.

Membership is open to physiotherapists living in Saskatchewan who meet eligibility criteria and pay annual dues.
